Another easy way to start making your very own sig tags.

1. Save this image and open it up in Paint Shop Pro.

2. Hold down shift and press D.

You should now have two images.

You will find out why I want you to have two images,

further into this tutorial!

They may look different sizes,

but they are exactly the same.

So on with the boring stuff first!!!

3. Look to the right of your workspace.

Believe it or not you can have lots of fun,

with this place once you get used to using it!

You should see something that looks like this,

though the colours may be different.

Tip! If you hover your cursor over places,

this will tell you what you are seeing.

4. Take your cursor to the rectangle,

just aboue the word textures.

You will notice the cursor changes into a colour dropper.

This is how you choose a background colour.

Click once and this box will pop up.

Do not be put off.

I was and now know what I have been missing.

You will notice the colour dropper is active here too!

You can click on one of the basic colours to the left, or

to choose a shade,

click somewhere around the circle

and then to choose a shade of that colour click on the inner square.

You will notice you can see the colour you have chosen,

where it says 'new colour'.

Please choose white in this instance.

5. Now go to Image - then Add Border - and this box pops up.

You can change these settings to suit yourself.

Click OK

You should have a white border, as below.

Now for some fun!!!!

6. Now go to the other image.

Select the crop tool.

We are going to crop the image.

Hold down the left mouse button as you select part of the picture.

Go to your tools option box and select crop Image.

You should have an image something like below,

though perhaps slightly smaller or larger.

7. Now select the magic wand.

Settings as below.

Click once on your border on the original picture.

You are now going to work on this selection.

8. Move your cursor to the rectangle,

just under the word Style and hold down the left mouse button.

This little box pops up

Important keep holding it down

and as you do moving your cursor to select this.

Now click there,

and this box (Pattern) pops up.

Click on the tiny arrow as indicated.

Then go right to the top and select your cropped image.

Click OK

Then select flood fill!

9. Place the cursor within the border of you image and click.

Here is my image now.

10. Go to Selections and click Select None.

Then you can save your image.

Before deselecting try going to Effects - then 3D effects -

Then Inner Bevel and play around with the settings there.

This is what I came up with.

Now try adding text.
